This is a community based project funded by the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability & Home Care.  The Program only assists: -

• Persons living in the local government area of Gosford who are at risk of premature or inappropriate long term residential care including -
  • older & frail persons with moderate, severe or profound disabilities;
  • younger persons with moderate, severe or profound disabilities;
  • carer's of those persons.

The project provided: -

• Essential maintenance repairs to the house & grounds with lawn / garden service and necessary modifications to the clients home such as the installation of ramps and support rails etc.

The project is not an emergency contact for any requests. The project receives many requests throughout the year and therefore has a waiting list at all times.

There is a subsidised contribution for all services, although no one is denied services if they cannot afford to make a contribution.
